The Challenge category uses tight lockups on solid Volt Green backgrounds to create priority and distinction within the app’s feed.

Each franchise needed to stand apart from the rest

The content categories in Nike’s Run Club app had no clear separation. Our task was to create visual language to make each franchise and content category easy to identify.

 

Insight

Each content category in the NRC app represents a core tenet of the run community. By clearly articulating these tenets, we can unite a multitude of runners around the motivations that fuel their craft.

 

 

Product-Inspired Visuals

Taking notes from the products represented, we developed visual systems based on elements in each content category. We used product texture emulating sound waves for playlists, color accents informed by Nike Flywire that parallel movement in the workout category, and branded illustrations that capture the heart of each product moment.
