Organic Milling came to Conscious Minds to shift their market position from existing as a general wellness product to absolutely owning the diabetic space. Along with Brand Strategy and a few pieces of print collateral, this new positioning is being realized through a rebrand and redesign of the existing packaging.

 

Insight

What if cereal was more than a breakfast food – if we could trust that ingredients with purpose would prepare our body for its best day? Sure Start has taken the time to learn what our bodies need and crafted a cereal that will set us on course for a day of stability. Finally, the morning meal we need to rest assured about the day ahead.

 

This is more than cereal, it’s our peace of mind.

 

 

That can’t be Diabetic Cereal…

Unfortunately, diabetic products as a category are not particularly beautiful. Walking down that isle in grocery stores is like wading through a sea of plastic – much of which is either intimidating, reminiscent of sketchy-looking workout steroids, or just plain uninviting. We set out to change that stereotype by rooting our aesthetic in a much warmer place. We pulled inspiration from contemporary magazine covers, data design and staged photoshoots to capture the product in an uniquely human and relatable light.

 

The color palate comes from the morning itself with intent to further cement Organic Milling products as a go-to breakfast choice. Hues were chosen with shelf space in mind to create a family of boxes splashed with color value that evoke the warmth of morning in an approachable tone of invitation.
