Meet the new face of Apple Retail

When Apple launched their new retail campaign “Today At Apple,” they asked Conscious Minds to capture the public unveiling. Our job was to ideate a smart and compelling way to capture and relate a series of live music performances, photo walks, and Today at Apple experiences to the people who weren’t a part of its debut.

Let’s be real, I didn’t Art Direct this.

But I did learn, peer, and swing over the shoulders of the ones who did! I worked with the lead Creative Directors and played a supporting role in sketching out the strategy of the capture. Alongside the CD’s and our head director, I built the production book we distributed to hundreds of creative pros in key cities across the globe and in so doing, learned what it takes to run mission control on a shoot of this magnitude.

 

My biggest takeaway was learning to communicate specific direction to a global creative team to procure the exact shots we needed to piece together the larger films our agency delivered to Apple.
